Trenton police Det. Thomas Brophy presented Karina Choz with a Trenton Police award during a ceremony at Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton on Monday, June 3, 2013. Choz, who was just 17 when a fire broke out in her last year home, called 911 and then went inside the home in an attempt to rescue her uncle Joel Caxaj. Also at the presentation were Trenton 911 dispatcher Duewa King and Trenton Fire Captain Jim Hall who rescued Caxaj. Martin Griff / The Times of Trenton
