Mercer residents among 46 sworn as US citizens

TRENTON - Wednesday, January 4, 2017
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Newark District Director John Thompson will administers the Oath of Allegiance to America’s newest citizens during a special naturalization ceremony at the Trenton City Council Chambers. Fifty-two people from all over the world – from Albania to Ukraine, Liberia to Liechtenstein – will take the Oath and start their new year as U.S. citizens. The Fifes and Drums of the Old Barracks play music during the ceremony.
