Rehab work is underway at the Mercer Meadows Pole Farm in Lawrence Township at Keefe and Cold Soil Rds. by County personnel and IEW Construction workers. The historically significant site was the location for the first trans-Atlantic communication. It evolved into the sole location for trans-Atlantic communication during WWII and by 1965 it was the largest radio-telephone station in the world.
