Cupcake creations from the Boys & Girls Club Cupcake War, a competition of teams from 8 Boys & Girls Club after-school program sites, (Centre Street and the Columbus, Robbins, Gregory, Monument, Grant, PJ Hill, and Village Charter Schools). The participating teams faced a panel of 8 volunteer judges from the community, including two professional bakers. The students have been planning for the competition for months and learned about baking, kitchen safety, and how to modify recipes for healthy eating.
