Hamilton, New Jersey mayor John Bencivengo and his attorney Jerome Ballarotto appeared in Clarkson S. Fisher Federal Building and Unites States Courthouse to enter a plea of not guilty to charges Bencivengo extorted $12,400 in bribes from an insurance broker to help win a school district contract and launder the money.
