A traffic signal and left turn lane on Route 130 southbound that are set to open on Friday to give shoppers easier access to The Shoppes at Hamilton. Since the shopping center opened in 2009, business owners have called for an easier way for shoppers to get to their stores. Currently, southbound motorists must drive nearly two miles out of the way — exiting nearly one mile away at Yardville Allentown Road, then doubling back in the other direction on Route 130 — to access the shopping center.
