The Trenton Thunder announced on June 6, 2013 that long time bat dog Chase that Golden Thunder will retire. On Friday, July 5, when the Trenton Thunder face Reading (Philadelphia Phillies), the team's Golden Retriever Chase will celebrate his 13th birthday.
