Tyquan Crews had a breakout performance in the Mercer County Tournament boys' basketball final. Crews posted career highs with 22 points and 12 rebounds to help top-seeded Ewing hold off third-seeded Trenton, 61-55, before a sell-out crowd at Mercer County Community College.
“Tyquan played absolutely fantastic,” Ewing coach Shelly Dearden said. “He was doing every little thing. He does a lot of the garbage work many players don’t like to do. I’m very proud of him. He works so hard.”
