Anthony Jones has suffered from uncontrollable seizures from the time he was 7 years old. In March the guitar playing teenager underwent double surgeries in which part of his brain was removed in an attempt to end his seizures for good. His family took out a second mortgage to pay off medical expenses not covered by their insurance company. They have gone through all their savings, including retirement accounts, and are just keeping their heads above water.

Jones will perform as the guest of honor at “Jammin’ for Anthony,” a benefit concert Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hibernian Club at 2419 Kuser Road
