Mount Holly resident Bill Bolger arrioves in Robbinsville on his walk of the "Keith Line" laid out 350 years ago by British royal decree creating New Jersey’s first “subdivision,” the provinces of East Jersey and West Jersey. The job of dividing it fell to Surveyor-General George Keith, who was charged with plotting the exact boundary – or Province Line – running diagonally from the Atlantic Ocean to the Delaware River in a northwesterly direction. Since the route was a straight line and can't be followed exactly, but Bolger plans to never deviate from the original line by a mile.
