Residents of three Robbinsville neighborhoods are upset that the township plans to repair the sidewalks, which they said have become damaged by the roots of the trees growing between the sidewalk and the street. Some residents say that they do not want their trees removed and replaced, and they rather the township shave the roots of the current trees. The sidewalk replacement is funded by capital money, but the tree replacement is funded by the Turnpike grants.
