The video board installation is underway at Arm & Hammer Park (formerly Waterfront Park), the home of the Double A New York Yankees affiliate Trenton Thunder in Trenton on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Four of the six panels making up the 68-foot wide right field screen are up. The other two panels will be put up on Wednesday. The 1,428 square-foot right field video board is which is more than four times larger than the previous model. The Thunder will also be installing a new 20- x 16-foot video display in left field and a new 14- x 15-foot highway marquee along Route 29. The Thunder's video production will now have replay capabilities, enhanced HD cameras, pitch speed and other features. The left field video screen will have a scoreboard beneath it. The team would not disclose the cost of the project.
Church & Dwight, owners of the Arm & Hammer brand, purchased the naming rights to the ballpark for an undisclosed amount in November. The Thunder begin their 20th season April 4 at Portland, with the home opener set for April 11 against Richmond. Martin Griff / The Times of Trenton
