Cows wait to be let into a milking parlor where they are milked 16, at a time twice a day at Fulper Farms in West Amwell on Thursday, June 21, 2012. . Bob Fulper installed the milking parlor in 1958 and it was one of the first in Jersey, Fulper said. Having the cows come to the stalls in the milking parlor is more efficient that moving the milking equipment to each cow's stall in a barn. In the past 10 years the farm has seen only a couple instances in which they were receiving a price that covered their costs of production. To stay in business, the farm is moving into the production of yogurt and cheese. Martin Griff / The Times of Trenton.
