From his home in West Windsor, Mike Mittelman makes his pitch via Skype to AJ Khubani, CEO of Telebrands, of "As Seen on TV" fame. Mittleman's company Modern Hugs makes dolls which can record a message and are intended "to counter the classic and outdated depictions of grandmothers as old, frumpy women commonly seen in children's books, toys and media." Twenty inventors nationwide participated in Virtual Inventors Day via Skype.
