Popular German school band "Artig" performed a concert at Hopewell Valley High School for students from the Hopewell Regional School District as well as students from 13 other schools in NJ and PA. The four band members: from left, Marten (bass guitar), Max (lead vocal), Chris (drums) and Dave (vocal/guitar), ages 21-22, have been playing together since 2004. The goal of the tour is to promote an up-to-date image of current German pop culture and to give German students an exceptional opportunity for an authentic intercultural exchange. In German, “artig” means “good.”
